Me: Can you promise me something?
Him: Yeah what?
Me: Promise me that we won't stop trying no matter how many obstacles we have to go through and that when we do stop trying, it'll be because everything is how it should be, we feel as if neither of us needs to be worked on anymore, and because what we need to do to make this work finally comes naturally to us. Promise me you won't wake up one day and decide you don't love me anymore and promise that if one day we both decide that we can't be together anymore, you'll remain my best friend.
